How each check works: each check first tries a live lookup against real phone, website and sanctions data through our server; if that's unreachable it automatically falls back to a check that runs entirely in your browser using our built-in U.S. Treasury OFAC sanctioned-address dataset and local heuristics, and says so. Wallet addresses and names are screened against OFAC; websites are analysed for brand impersonation and scam red flags; phone numbers are validated and profiled by country, line type and risk score.
